NBAA Workers’ Compensation Insurance Program Experiencing
Good Success

Senior VP Michael Clark of Phoenix Aviation Managers, NBAA President and CEO Ed Bolen, and NationAir President Jeff Bauer met to discuss the success of the NBAA Workers' Compensation Program, which is underwritten by Phoenix Aviation Managers, Inc. and administered by NationAir.

ORLANDO, FL—October 20, 2009—NationAir Aviation Insurance President Jeff Bauer met with the National Business Aviation Association’s (NBAA) President and CEO Ed Bolen and Phoenix Aviation Managers Senior Vice President Michael Clark today to review the success of the NBAA Workers’ Compensation Insurance Program. Since its launch earlier this year, the program has been made available exclusively to NBAA Member Companies and is enjoying a good response. The program is underwritten by Phoenix Aviation Managers, Inc. and administered by NationAir Aviation Insurance.

“As our Members seek to reduce operating costs in today’s challenging economic environment, we believe that this program can provide high-quality workers’ compensation insurance at a reduced price,” said NBAA President and CEO Ed Bolen.

In addition to reducing the cost of workers’ compensation insurance premiums for NBAA Members, the program also provides backing for NBAA as it supports the business aviation community.

“This money-saving program is gaining traction in the general aviation community,” said NationAir President Jeff Bauer. “NBAA Members are enthusiastic about having access to a program that addresses the unique needs of their organizations, reduces insurance costs, and also supports NBAA in its mission.”

All NBAA Members that operate aircraft are eligible for this program, regardless of size or Member category. There are even provisions for companies using contract crew members.

NBAA Member Companies that already have an aviation insurance provider can simply contact their current broker, who will be able to obtain the workers’ compensation insurance through Phoenix Aviation Managers.
